Maths is fun here at Jollies and developing our awareness of shape and size can take many, many forms…
Our little ones have been busy figuring out which wooden doll goes into which this morning… Lots of problem solving and perseverance meant they were soon able to connect all the different halves together and fit them inside each other and also place them in size order.
Plus it really got those little fingers working and strengthening as the challenge of getting them apart and back together again afterwards commenced!!
There’s method in our madness here at nursery, we promise!!!
