we’re obsessed with the Gruffalo!!!!!
Seeing as all her children are currently obsessed with The Gruffalo book, Chloe went on a book hunt and found yet another book and this one had an actual Gruffalo puppet attached… which made it even more exciting!!
This book gave her children some simple instructions to follow on each page; such as “Can you scratch the Gruffalo’s nose?” and “Can you give him a cuddle?”
Well what a fabulous job they all did at following the instructions given to them… getting the whole way through the book with their super-duper listening ears on! What excellent comprehension and understanding they all exhibited!!
Many of the children did such a great job at remembering some lines from the original story too; saying “purple prickles on his back” and many other well-known lines too! It was so lovely to observe their total love of this character and hear them, unprompted, reciting parts of the story!
Obsessed, us?!? Just a little, but there’s worse things in life to be obsessed with!!
