In Terrific Twos the other morning the children had all been working upon developing their gross motor skills as they had been exploring the soft play equipment that had been brought in by their Jolly grownups for them to use.
So then in the afternoon they got to work honing their fine motor skills at snack time.
Emma wrapped up a piece of fruit for each one of them. They then chose a parcel from the basket and set to work unwrapping it!! It was a little tricky and sometimes they needed Emma to unpeel a tiny piece to get them going, but it was super exciting as little fingers determinedly got to work to unwrap their pieces of fruit!!!
Honing motor skills, and strengthening little fingers, at Jollies is just soooooooo much fun for everyone!!
There’s method in our madness… wrapping up fruit you say?!? It’s just learning ‘the Jollies way’!! xxxx
