So many wonderful creations emerging from our mud kitchen… this little one lovingly made some ‘warm milk’ for Beth and made sure that he totally looked after her.

It’s not just our younger children currently enjoying the beautiful blocks… our Free-Flowers love them too

Except now extra dimensions are added; such as colour sorting, counting, comparisons of tower height, lots of positional language and lots of imagination as the blocks morphed into all manner of imaginary things, including an excellent bendy bus!!

it’s making our hearts sing here at Jollies

All rooms are loving getting to know their new children (and their mummies and daddies too!) and new friendships are being formed and confidence and familiarity is growing as our children settle into their new exciting play spaces.

Soooo many exciting adventures ahead for everyone xxxx

What’s better than building with brightly coloured blocks? Building with brightly coloured blocks on the light table and on a mirrored surface Beautiful patterns are created as spaces are filled with brightness!!

Fascinating reflections and amazing colours create awe and wonder for our little ones… investigating, exploring and learning in THE BEST possible way! Xxxx

Spider-Man’s got nothing on us… scaling our climbing wall quicker than he could scale a skyscraper!!

Amazing physical skills emerge and develop here at Jollies through sheer perseverance and determination (and a little bit of modelling, scaffolding, demonstration and supportive advice and from a nearby kind, encouraging Jolly grown up!) xxxx

As promised, here’s a first sneaky peek into some of our exciting new spaces. We think your children are in for oodles of fun as they learn through their play here with our wonderful Team Jollies New key person bonds are forming already and it’s exciting times ahead for everyone……… xxxx

When you walk in and out of nursery tomorrow please take a moment to look around as things may look a little different. Sian has been working her decorating magic again and she has giraffified the porch….

Our window display has also turned autumnal (oh the irony as thefinally starts to shine ) with lots of exciting seasonal things to look at on your way up the stairs and there may, or may not?, be a pumpkin garland appearing at some point too… as Sian has set me a challenge of crocheting one… (only problem? I’m a bit of a crochet novice and also I’m not cracking at following a pattern as I’m a bit of a free-styler so we’ll see….)

Many of our amazing Team Jollies also gave up a lot of their very precious Saturday to set up their rooms ready for their new children tomorrow. We are so grateful for the love and heart and soul that they all put into making their learning environments so beautiful… A sneaky peek will follow tomorrow of some of these areas, but there’s much more to be added as they truly jollify their amazing spaces… many finishing touches to add, but thank you again team for your total dedication and awesomeness

Team Jollies wanted to say one final thank you to all our mummies and daddies (and grandmas and grandads!) for all their kindness, support, cards, wishes and sooooo many treats and presents as their children are about to move into their next rooms.

It is truly a wrench (for us and you) to say goodbye, but we know that we’ll all soon have strong bonds forming with our new key people/children… here’s to the next exciting Jollies chapter that’s about to begin…

We know that both you and your little ones will soon be loving your next room and carers as much as your previous ones and there’s just soooooo many wonderful moments and memories waiting to be made!!

Thank you all though for your kindness and working in such close partnership with us all and we look forward to these bonds continuing to strengthen and grow as your children’s unique Jolly learning journeys continue…

One final thank you to all our brilliant BIG school leavers. Thank you for all your brilliance and fun over the years… We’ve given you the roots to grow and now it’s time to spread your wings and fly!

You’ll all be amazing and we all wish you amazing things in the future.

Thank you everyone so, so much for coming along to the leavers party today to celebrate as your little ones leave us as they get ready to embark upon their exciting school journeys. We have loved every minute of being with them and they’ll certainly be missed!!
